Cultural and exhibition centre Hermitage-Amsterdam was established in 2004; since 2009 it is located in the Amstelhof building of 1673 which was opened to the public after it was restored and transformed into museum. The space occupied by the modern museum complex of the Hermitage-Amsterdam centre is 12 846 square meters; it includes display areas, lecture halls and information rooms, children’s education centre, café-restaurant and museum shops.
